The commercial was actually written by Haley just for fun, but was so effective Apple\u2019s marketing people just had to pick it up and use it as a TV spot.\u00a0 See the link above for specifics and numbers about just how effective Apple\u2019s running of this spot was for the band.\u00a0 And here\u2019s the spot:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s interesting that a company like Apple has become so much of a cultural phenomenon they can make a band a hit. More interesting is the fact that the technology has fused so much as a pop-culture icon that anything surrounding it\u2019s marketing becomes popular.<\/p>\n<p>Everyday we see innovative examples of how bands fuse with non-traditional entities to gain a buzz surrounding their music. The ideas and methods, especially using the web, have just begun to be tapped.
