{"id":934,"date":"2023-03-08T21:17:20","date_gmt":"2023-03-08T21:17:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bursucretleri.com\/blog\/?p=934"},"modified":"2023-03-23T09:23:45","modified_gmt":"2023-03-23T09:23:45","slug":"10-things-all-bloggers-want","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bursucretleri.com\/blog\/10-things-all-bloggers-want\/","title":{"rendered":"10 Things All Bloggers Want"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Spreading messages successfully and organically throughout the blogosphere is something every PR person dreams of.\u00a0But before you can even think about devising a way to spread whatever it is you want to spread, you need to understand the motivation behind bloggers first.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Attempting to try to create a buzz in the blogosphere without having a true, deep understanding of the environment is destined for failure, or worse \u2013 you could inadvertently create a negative buzz behind what you\u2019re doing (although some would argue that all exposure is good exposure).\u00a0This is why it is so important that\u00a0every marketer\/PR person should have a blog\u00a0\u2013 you can\u2019t possibly hope to be successful in the blogosphere unless you\u2019re active in it and have an intimate understanding of it.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You should keep these in mind while brainstorming ideas to ignite the blogosphere \u2013 the more you can deliver on, the greater chances your idea will have of spreading.\u00a0The path you take\u00a0is of course unique for any idea, product, service, website, company, nonprofit, etc. that you want to spread across the blogosphere.\u00a0Each project needs its own personal, tailored, creative approach. But knowing the motivations behind bloggers is vital to generate the idea.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Anyway, on to the list of 10 things all bloggers want:<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>1)\u00a0Readers and subscribers<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers are the most vocal people in the world, (at least with their keyboards) and are without question the influencers of the Internet.\u00a0They all want more readers and subscribers, even the ones who have many.\u00a0More readers not only equals additional potential advertising revenue, but perhaps more importantly it increases their sphere of influence in the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>2)\u00a0Links<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers love links to their site \u2013 especially from highly trafficked web pages.\u00a0It provides them added visibility, traffic and helps their PageRank and SEO efforts.\u00a0This is something especially important for up-and-coming bloggers (and less so, but still significant for established bloggers).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>3)\u00a0Authority<\/strong><br \/>\nNot talking about the\u00a0Technorati\u00a0definition of authority here; bloggers want to be defined as the authority in their specific niche.\u00a0Find a way to help someone further become that authority and they will certainly be grateful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>4)\u00a0Recognition<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers, like anyone else in the world, like to be recognized for their hard work (it\u00a0<strong>is<\/strong>\u00a0hard work!).\u00a0Especially to people pouring their heart and soul into their content, genuine recognition for their site from the people within their industry is something wonderful.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>5)\u00a0Respect<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers want (and deserve) the same respect as traditional journalists.\u00a0You also need to realize at the same time that they are not traditional journalists.\u00a0They are blogging 100% on their own agenda, and on whatever they choose, whenever they choose.\u00a0They also will oust you if you try anything underhanded or manipulative.\u00a0Inauthentic conversations\u00a0in this space are always a bad idea.\u00a0Read my\u00a0Guide on PR and the Blogosphere\u00a0to get the full scoop, including tips on how to pitch bloggers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>6)\u00a0Something new and unique<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers are seekers of the new, offbeat, unique and compelling.\u00a0If you don\u2019t have something truly fascinating, it probably won\u2019t get very far in this space.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>7)\u00a0Comments and feedback<\/strong><br \/>\nHearing responses and feedback from readers in the form of comments or even personal emails is something that is always a great motivator for bloggers.\u00a0They are all passionate about what they\u2019re writing and will certainly engage you in some great discourse.\u00a0Get a conversation going with a top blogger in your industry \u2013 you\u2019ll be amazed at how much information they have to share, and the unique insights you\u2019ll be provided with.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>8)\u00a0Intelligent messages<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers seek out intelligent, insightful content and things that make both themselves and their readers think, learn and be inspired.\u00a0Never dumb down a communication to bloggers, and be sure anything you send them is properly researched and documented.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>9)\u00a0Useful, relevant information<\/strong><br \/>\nBloggers love to stumble-upon new information, resources or content on their niche.\u00a0They also desire the most useful, and cutting-edge products.\u00a0 They\u2019re the early adapters on most things for sure.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>10)\u00a0Something fun, upbeat and creative<\/strong><br \/>\nCreativity, inspiration and positive news drives bloggers as much as the controversial stuff (which definitely drives them too).\u00a0Ho-hum news is almost always ignored.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Incorporate as many of these points as possible when trying to permeate the blogosphere on a niche or mass scale and you will have much greater chances of success.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Spreading messages successfully and organically throughout the blogosphere is something every PR person dreams of.\u00a0But before you can even think &#8230;
